At the heart of Italian design in the 1960s, the Azteca collection illustrates the growing interest of designers in sculptural forms and historical references integrated into a resolutely modern vocabulary.

Fabio Frontini has created a precise and measured piece, produced by Arnolfo di Cambio , a Florentine firm renowned for its work in glass and crystal. The ashtray is crafted from thick, transparent glass, its clean lines revealing a motif inspired by pre-Columbian geometries. Its entirely handcrafted production testifies to the technical expertise of the manufacturer at that time.

The example shown is in very good condition. The glass retains its brilliance, and a few minor signs of wear confirm a patina consistent with its age. The lines remain perfectly legible.

Integrated dimensions: 15 cm wide, 4 cm high.

An ideal piece for a library, office or console, whether you choose to use it or simply display it in a selection of Italian design from the sixties.
