20th-century design armchairs and lounge chairs

The armchair is the iconic piece of 20th-century design. At Artifort, Pierre Paulin invented sculptural, enveloping silhouettes: F675 "Butterfly", F444, "Little Tulip", "Pumpkin". In Denmark, Poul Kjærholm combined steel and leather in the PK22, while Arne Jacobsen created the "Swan" for Fritz Hansen.

Our selection also includes the Lounge Chair by Charles and Ray Eames, the "Diamond" chairs by Harry Bertoia for Knoll, the "Orbis" lounge chairs by Luigi Colani for Cor, the F518 by Geoffrey Harcourt and the "Corona" by Poul Volther: authentic pieces, often in patinated leather or velvet.
