20th-century design boxes

Jewellery boxes, cigarette boxes or storage boxes: in Italy, from the 1950s to the 1980s, the box became a playground for craftsmen and designers. Faux-tortoiseshell lacquer in the Hollywood Regency spirit, plexiglass and lucite, brass, precious woods, leather or woven metal: each piece reflects real know-how.

Our selection also includes a brutalist box by David Marshall and a large Rio rosewood box by Fristho. Collectible objects that find their place on a coffee table, a console or a desk.
