In the 1980s, Brandani developed a series of decorative objects made of treated metal, playing on the contrast between a matte exterior and a golden interior. The "crema" process, typical of Italian production during this period, gives each piece a marbled and changing inner surface.
Set of 3 Brandani catchalls, circa 1980. Asymmetrical shape with curved edges, satin silver-plated metal exterior, golden crema finish interior with marbled patterns, each piece slightly different. The three sizes nest within each other. Italian made, signed Brandani.
Very good overall condition. No notable signs of wear, complete and consistent set.
Dimensions: small 12 cm wide, 6 cm high. Medium 18 cm wide, 8 cm high. Large 24 cm wide, 11 cm high.
To be used stacked or separated, on a console, desk, or shelf, for storing keys, jewelry, or small items.
