Each ashtray, in solid brass with slightly wavy edges, forms a square bowl surrounded by a wide flat rim cut with four cigarette notches. The two pieces come in two sizes, one larger, one more compact, and work together as a duo. The underside bears a small diamond mark.
Good used condition: the brass has an old patina, with a few spots of oxidation in the bowls and small irregularities from the hammering, with no dents or warping. The piece comes from the hand rather than the factory, and it shows.
