In the 1970s and 1980s, Murano glassworks developed speckling techniques that give blown glass a granite-like look, with coloured particles distributed irregularly through the mass.
Deep blue blown glass, speckled with darker dots, with variations in density creating a gradient from neck to base. Straight cylindrical shape, with a slightly lighter, translucent foot.
Hand-blown, each piece has its own distribution of speckles.
Very good overall condition. A slight mark near the base is visible in one of the photos.
Dimensions: 20.5 cm high, 12.5 cm wide.
On its own as a centrepiece, or paired with other tinted glass pieces.
