Italian mouth-blown glass vase from the 1980s. Generous ovoid shape, set on a clear glass foot that visually lightens the whole.
The glasswork unfolds in two parts: on the upper two thirds, violet and white marbling evokes the veining of agate, with nuances that change with the light. It then gives way, on the lower third, to a deep, solid burgundy that anchors the piece and contrasts with the lightness of the gradient above. As each vase of this type is hand-blown, the marbled pattern is unique.
Height 45 cm, width 20 cm.
Perfect condition. From a private collection in Milan, Italy.
A piece that works on its own, on the floor to mark a corner, or raised on a low cabinet, with or without flowers.
