In the late 1920s, Marcel Breuer developed the cantilever chair, carried by a tubular frame without rear legs. This 1970s Italian production takes up that vocabulary, combined with patinated cognac leather.
Set of 4 "Cantilever" chairs, design attributed to Marcel Breuer, Italian production, 1970s. Manufacturer unspecified. Chrome tubular metal frame, seat, back and armrests in cognac leather.
Very good overall condition. The leather has an even patina and remains supple, with no risk of cracking. Two small black glides are missing under one of the chairs — a minor detail, easily replaced.
Dimensions: height 80 cm, width 58 cm, depth 54 cm.
A set of four chairs to gather around a table or spread across different rooms, for structured, comfortable seating with already patinated leather.
