In 1950, Eero Saarinen designed for Knoll a series of armchairs for offices and meeting rooms. He drew on the moulded-shell principle developed two years earlier with the Womb chair: an enveloping, upholstered seat on a light frame.
Executive model, known as "Conference", produced by Knoll in the 1990s. Shell upholstered in brown leather with piping, cushion seat, chrome-plated tubular steel base on glides. KnollStudio marking on the base and Knoll-branded fabric under the seat.
Excellent condition. Supple leather, even colour, no tears or signs of wear.
Dimensions: height 80 cm, width 67 cm, depth 60 cm.
