1960s Dutch design favoured sober lines and honest materials. This set of 4 chairs belongs to that tradition.
Designed by Martin Visser, produced by Spectrum, the Netherlands, 1960s. Wenge frame, seat and back in brown leather. Wenge is a solid wood with pronounced grain: each chair has a unique grain pattern, none identical to the other three. Original Spectrum stickers still under the seats, confirming the authenticity of the edition.
Lovely patina on the leather, no tears. Good overall condition.
Each chair measures H 77 × W 48 × D 46 cm.
A coherent set for a dining room, around a solid wood or marble table.
