In the 1980s, Paul Tuttle designed for Strässle a series of tables with chrome tube bases unfolding in a continuous scroll between spiral and ring. The "Anaconda" remains one of his most recognisable forms.
Pair of coffee tables, smoked glass tops and chrome tube frames. One is an original Strässle piece, designed by Paul Tuttle, circa 1980. The second faithfully reproduces the same form and build quality, without markings to confirm its origin: it is sold as a matching piece, not attributed to Strässle.
Very good overall condition for both tables, with comparable craftsmanship.
Dimensions of the original piece: diameter 78 cm, height 39 cm. The second has very similar proportions.
