In the 1970s, Scheurich explored earthy-toned glazes that marked a turning point in West German ceramics. The "Camo" model, shown here in its sought-after version 239-41 , is fully in line with this research, with a nuanced surface revealing the manufacturer's technical mastery.

Made of wheel-thrown and glazed ceramic, this vase reflects Scheurich's characteristic style during this decade: clean lines, balanced volumes, and carefully crafted textures. The glaze features a brown-green gradient typical of the experimental series of the period.

The condition is very good. The surface shows a light patina, consistent with work from the 1970s and prized by collectors for its authenticity. No cracks or chips.

The vase measures 41 cm in height and 14 cm in diameter, a slender format that gives it a discreet but assertive presence.

An ideal piece for an architectural shelf or a minimalist console, alone or in dialogue with other ceramics from the same period.
