Each piece is made of clear lucite whose upper face is decorated with a floral pattern painted in shades of pink, orange, lilac and soft green, like a veil of watercolour trapped in the material. The square catchall tray holds a removable round gilt brass dish at its centre. The rectangular box closes with a fitted lid in the same pattern and reveals its transparent interior.
Good overall condition: the lucite is clear, the floral decoration intact and bright, and the brass dish keeps its golden shine with a light patina of use. The set is complete and perfectly matched.
