Designed in the early 1960s, the "Onda" catchall tray illustrates the rigour and sensuality of post-war Italian design. Created by Sergio Asti and produced by Arnolfo di Cambio, it belongs to a period when mastery of glass served functional, sober forms.

Made of clear mouth-blown glass, the object reveals a subtle play of curves and light, typical of Asti's work. Its undulating form, both precise and fluid, reflects an approach in which craftsmanship dialogues with industrial modernity.

The piece is in good condition, with a few light, almost invisible scratches; the transparency of the glass is intact and fully shows off the play of light.

Dimensions: approx. 21 cm in diameter and 3 cm high.

Discreet and balanced, this catchall tray will naturally find its place on a desk, a console or in the centre of a coffee table. A rare object from a time when Italian design combined formal rigour with a sense of everyday life.
