Created in the 1980s, it combines a carefully curved metal structure, with taut and balanced lines, and a perfectly fitted cylindrical container of thick glass. The piece plays on the contrast between the industrial rigor of the metal and the transparency of the glass, in an approach typical of Sabattini's work.
The condition is very good. The metal has a light and even patina, consistent with its age. The glass is in excellent condition, without chips or cracks. The piece is stable and complete.
The dimensions fit naturally into a contemporary or modernist interior: 16.5 cm long, 12 cm wide and 4.5 cm high.
