Italian production, circa 1980. Wooden structure, veneered burr walnut with carefully matched patterns. Sober handle with brass insert on the front. Interior lined with blue velvet. Fitted lid, with a functional particularity: it can be positioned in both directions, offering a different reading of the piece depending on the presentation.
Very good overall condition. Slight surface micro-scratches visible in the light, consistent with use. Clean interior, velvet in good condition.
Balanced dimensions: 22.5 cm long, 14 cm wide and 6 cm high.
A discreet and precise piece, suitable for a desk, console or coffee table, to hold jewelry, watches or small everyday objects.
