Italian rectangular box, circa 1960. Wooden structure, carefully matched elm burl veneer, glossy varnish. Lid adorned with a central silver medallion, serving as a handle. Precise carpentry work, integrated hinges. The lid can be positioned in both directions, offering a different interpretation of the piece and allowing for a more graphic presentation.
Very good overall condition. Slight micro-scratches from use visible on the varnish. Beautiful silver patina, unpolished, retaining its original appearance. Clean interior.
