In the 1970s, De Sede developed modular seating in thick leather, designed to last and be transformed. The DS-46 model is part of this quest for structured comfort and modularity.
DS-46 sofa, produced by De Sede, Switzerland, circa 1970. Robust internal structure, upholstered in full-grain buffalo leather, selected for its density and durability. Assembly by independent modules allowing different configurations.
The leather is in very good condition. Beautiful, even patina, supple with no sagging. Recently maintained with Nordin brothers' products. Slight traces of use consistent with age. Uncommon configuration. Piece currently preserved in the Treaptyque Archives.
Each module measures approximately H 75 × W 90 × D 90 cm.
Suitable for a contemporary or collector's interior. Clear visual impact in an open space.
