This Scandinavian “Z” side chair, designed by Erik Magnussen for Torben Ørskov in the 1960s, is presented today in its original condition, dressed in its patinated black leather. Over time, an elegant “Snake” patina has formed, revealing fine scales of leather that testify to its history and authenticity.
Combining a sturdy steel frame with beautifully preserved original leather, this chair retains its iconic “Z” design, a hallmark of Scandinavian style. Compact and refined (73 x 52 x 65 cm, seat height 35 cm), it works equally well as an occasional seat or as a decorative piece with a strong identity.
