In the 1970s, De Sede developed seating in thick leather, designed to last and evolve over time. The DS-46 model is part of this quest for enveloping comfort and flexible structure.
DS-46 armchair, edited by De Sede, Switzerland, circa 1970. Robust internal structure, upholstered in full-grain buffalo leather, selected for its density and durability. Piece from a modular system, initially designed to interact with a larger ensemble.
The leather is in very good condition. Beautiful homogeneous patina, supple without sagging. Recently treated with products from the Nordin brothers. Slight traces of use consistent with age.
Armchair currently kept at the Treaptyque Archives. The matching sofa is also available on the website, for rent only.
Dimensions: H 75 × W 90 × D 90 cm approximately.
Suitable for a contemporary or collector's interior. Clear reading as a standalone piece or as part of a composition.
