Created in the 1970s by Henri Mathieu, a leading figure in French design, this table lamp embodies the formal rigor and pursuit of movement characteristic of his work. Its brushed metal shade, combined with leatherwork attributed to Flavio Poli for Seguso (circa 1980), creates a subtle dialogue between two eras of European design.

The polished metal structure, 56 cm high and 27 cm wide, has a beautiful patina from use, attesting to careful maintenance and even aging of the surfaces.

Functional electrification, original switch on cord. The whole remains true to the spirit of workshop pieces of the period, between craftsmanship and limited production.

Ideal on a desk or console, this piece fits naturally into a contemporary interior or a 20th century design collection.
