Created in the 1970s by Boris Tabacoff for Mobilier Modulaire Moderne, this dining table testifies to the radical French design of the era, where polished metal and smoked glass became architectural elements in their own right.
The chromed steel base develops a taut circular line, characteristic of Tabacoff's work. It supports a large round smoked glass top, whose tinted transparency balances the sculptural presence of the structure. A production representative of French Space Age research of the 70s.
Very good overall condition. The top shows few signs of use. Chromed structure in good condition, with a light and homogeneous patina consistent with its age.
Dimensions: height 70 cm, diameter 130 cm.
An elegant table for an interior mixing modernist furniture, Italian pieces from the 1970s, or a contemporary collection.
