This square 1970s coffee table, in the pure Space Age spirit, stands out for its 110 cm smoked glass top and its 35 cm height. It perfectly embodies the futuristic, minimalist aesthetic of its time, its geometric lines bringing a retro-futuristic note that fits naturally into a contemporary interior.
Its chrome-plated metal frame, both solid and refined, contrasts harmoniously with the transparency of the smoked glass, striking a subtle balance between modernity and visual lightness.
The top shows a very slight chip and a few surface scratches, quite normal given the age of the piece, which remain discreet and affect neither its use nor its look. The base has a patina and some pitting from age, without harming the overall harmony.
Both practical and decorative, this emblematic piece illustrates the avant-garde spirit of 1970s design with character.
