During the 1970s, Scheurich developed several textured enamels that revitalized its production. The "Nougat" finish, with its brown and grey contrasts punctuated by micro-craters, illustrates this desire for experimentation within the famous 239-41 model.

Made of wheel-thrown ceramic and then covered with a textured glaze, this vase features the iconic lines of the manufacturer: a slender body, a pronounced shoulder, and a slightly flared opening. The "Nougat" finish is distinguished by its subtle relief and irregular transitions, characteristic of Scheurich's most sought-after series from this period.

The condition is very good. The surface has a light and even patina, consistent with a piece from the 70s. No chips, no cracks.

The vase measures 41 cm in height and 14 cm in diameter, a vertical format appreciated for its stability and visual balance.

An ideal piece for an architectural shelf or a selection of West German ceramics, where the "Nougat" finish adds a warm and graphic tone.
