In the late 1960s, Piet Hein and Bruno Mathsson developed a family of tables for Fritz Hansen that became a benchmark in post-war Scandinavian design: rigorous construction, clean-lined top, and fan-shaped chromed steel rod legs. This rectangular table is a direct expression of that design.
White laminate top, edged with an aluminum profile. "Span legs" base: four chromed steel rods per leg, converging towards a single disc on the floor. Manufactured in Denmark in 1998 — original Fritz Hansen A/S label present under the top.
Good overall condition: clean tabletop surface, no notable scratches. The aluminum edge shows slight signs of wear consistent with age. Chromed base intact. Suitable for a dining room for 4 to 6 people or as a desk.
