20th-century design objects: the art of detail
Ashtrays, catchall trays, boxes, candleholders, sculptures: in the 20th century, small everyday objects became true design pieces. In Italy, houses such as Fontana Arte, Brandani and Seguso worked Murano glass, brass, aluminium, lucite and faux-tortoiseshell lacquer, while Angelo Mangiarotti carved marble for Knoll.
These collectible objects bring character to a coffee table, a console or a shelf. Our selection brings together pieces from the 1950s to the 1990s, mostly Italian, chosen for their shape, material and rarity.
Discover our ashtrays, catchall trays, boxes, candleholders and sculptures, as well as our Murano glass and ceramic vases.
